Ready to hang and made using sustainable (FSC) plywood, artist Jess Hughes hand paints her distinct mackerel shoals with water-based, non-toxic decorative paints and varnish.
Using a palette of blues, greens, greys and pale yellows, no two mackerel are the same - each is a unique piece of art.
This price (£645) is for TWENTY mackerel:
5 Large fish (each approx. 42cm x 8.5cm)
5 Medium fish (each approx. 29cm x 6.5cm)

This shoal incorporates all four sizes available: Large, medium, small and The Tiddler.
The Iona Shoal is based on the repeat pattern of the commission I created for P&O Cruises.
